"While the vagina is self-cleaning, the same does not apply for the vulva (the outer part of your intimate area), which is not self-cleansing. The vulva produces sweat, that together with urine easily can get trapped in the hair follicles.
The intimate skin can not be treated like the rest of the skin on your body as it has such a delicate ecosystem that can easily be thrown out of balance. Any products used on the vulva should have a pH of 5 (as the vulva has pH 5). You should never wash with regular soap, body wash or gel, as these contain a higher pH level and non-hypoallergenic fragrance ingredients that are not correctly formulated for intimate skin. Products with a different pH level than the vulva can disrupt your vulva’s natural pH, leading to irritation, discomfort and possibly infections."

WHY DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN PERFUME?
DeoDoc only uses hypoallergenic scents/perfumes in all of our products. Hypoallergenic scents are free from alcohol, allergens and irritants, therefore, they are safe for intimate skin.
Regular perfume should never be used in the intimate area as it contains:
- alcohol which can have a dehydrating effect
- allergens that can cause irritation
Why should my intimate wash have a pH of 5?
Any products used on the vulva should have a pH of 5 (as the vulva has a pH of 5). You should never wash with regular soap, body wash or gel, as these contain a higher pH level and non-hypoallergenic fragrance ingredients that are not correctly formulated for intimate skin. I can’t live without this now. I get the Jasmine Pear & Violet Cotton, so I can alternate the scents. I use one pump, lather, clean and rinse. It feels silky and smells light and fresh. It’s pretty expensive compared to other products you can buy in store but since you only need one pump, it does last. Highly recommend this, to at least try it, especially if you use feminine washes regularly. Packaging looks “boutique” and cute. I did take off one star, simply because I am not a fan of the newest bottle I received. It’s not opaque and you can’t see how much you have left. That’s just a pet peeve for me for any product where you can’t see how much is left. Other than that, product is top notch for me!

I ordered my first bottle from Violet Gray over 1 year ago - the fresh coconut scent. I fell in love. This is the first wash that I can use for a while without the product losing its efficacy. It's none irritating to my hyper sensitive area. You only need to use a little and it goes a long way. I love it so much that I've referred several friends. I have purchased several times since then, including purchasing the feminine wipes.

I keep rebuying these. It makes me feel clean and fresh. The scent is good and you dont have to use a lot of product
I’ve used Deodoc products before and they really do work wonders, but they’re a little expensive, so I recently tried the Luna all-over-wash which unfortunately gave me some uncomfortable irritation for a few days, so I’ve switched back to Deodoc and the irritation has completely gone. I’ve tried the deodorant cleaning oil, the cleaning wash, and calming oil, and they’ve all been fantastic. Really smooth, no irritation whatsoever, and I feel squeaky clean. I do a lot of sports, so Deodoc products have been a total lifesaver. I’m just waiting for the bubble bath to come back in stock and will try that out too. I cannot recommend this brand enough.
First of all the scent…it’s amazing! Smells like a creamy tropical mango/coconut dessert but in a very subtle way. The wash itself is so gentle, it cleanses well without stripping my skin and it doesn’t cause irritation, a little goes a long way too as it foams up a lot. Overall, really enjoy this intimate wash and definitely see myself repurchasing it.
Can’t live without deodoc’s intimate wash! I suffer from chronic UTIs and have noticed since using this product my UTIs have occurred significantly less (I only had one when I was close to finishing the bottle/using less of the product than normal!)
I’ve tried a lot of different preventative measures and the only thing that worked was antibiotics - so I’m SO relieved I found a way to prevent UTIs and having to take anitbiotics so often. I didn’t even expect this product to work for me in this way so I was shocked to discover this. Safe to say I’ll be a customer for life!
